A.C.T. Hardware is the official Singapore wholesale distributor for Nitti safety footwear. We supply the full range — nine models across low, mid and high cut — to contractors, shipyards, manufacturers, safety retailers and corporate PPE programmes, from a single sizing run to bulk site orders.

Why safety officers specify Nitti

Nitti has been making safety footwear since 1996, and the design principle has not shifted: keep the boot simple and functional, right down to the smallest parts, so what remains is durable, comfortable and safe. It is one of the most certified safety footwear brands in the world.

A wider toe cap, because feet have to last the whole shift

Most safety toe caps taper to a narrow tip. Under load that forces the toes to bend, which restricts blood circulation in the foot — which is how a boot can pass every impact test and still leave a worker limping by mid-afternoon. Nitti’s toe cap is cut wider, easing pressure across the toes without compromising protection. On a ten-hour shift that is the difference between footwear people wear and footwear people take off.

A layered upper that breathes but resists liquid

Quality leather is layered with a Cambrelle® comfort lining, so the boot stays breathable from the inside while resisting liquid from the outside. In Singapore’s climate that matters more than it does almost anywhere else — and it is measured in how the boot feels at hour nine, not hour one.

SS 513 listed, and certified across the region

For Singapore procurement, one certification decides the tender: SS 513. Nitti is PSB-tested. If your workplace safety policy or tender documentation specifies SS 513 compliance, Nitti meets it, and we can supply the certification paperwork with your quotation.

Standard Market Detail
SS 513 Singapore PSB tested, licence 00132
EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 Europe (CE) Current edition, 2024 amendment
MS (SIRIM) Malaysia SIRIM certified
SNI 7079-2009 Indonesia
AS 2210.3:2019 Australia & NZ

The CE mark covers antistatic levels, upper and outsole bond strength, impact resistance and durability, tested to the current 2022 edition of EN ISO 20345 including its 2024 amendment. Every boot goes through a series of stringent quality assurance tests before it leaves the factory.

That regional spread matters if you operate across borders: a contractor running sites in Singapore, Johor and Batam can standardise on one boot rather than sourcing three.

Nitti is also a member of the SATRA Technology Centre and works in partnership with its Footwear Technology Centre across product research, material supply, manufacturing, testing and certification. SATRA is recognised as the world’s leading research and technology centre for safety footwear.

Every pair is backed by international product liability cover and a six-month manufacturer’s warranty.

The range: nine models, three heights

Nitti is organised by cut height and closure type. Height determines ankle protection and mobility; closure determines how fast the boot goes on and off, which matters on sites where footwear comes off at entry points.

Model Cut Closure Typical use
21281 Low Lace Workshop, warehouse, light industrial
21381 Low Velcro Frequent on/off, cleanroom entry
21981 Low Slip-on Stores, logistics, retail floor
22281 Mid Lace General construction, manufacturing
22681 Mid Zipper Fast entry with ankle support
22781 Mid Slip-on Maintenance, facilities, plant
23281 High Pull-on Heavy construction, shipyard, civil
23281BN High Pull-on As above, brown finish
23681 High Zipper Full ankle coverage, fast removal

Low cut — 21281, 21381, 21981

Shoe-height protection for workshop floors, warehouses, stores and light industrial work, where ankle mobility matters more than ankle support. Choose lace for a secure fixed fit, velcro where footwear comes on and off repeatedly, and slip-on for the fastest entry.

Mid cut — 22281, 22681, 22781

The general-purpose specification for construction and manufacturing: meaningful ankle support without the weight and heat of a full boot. This is the cut most Singapore sites standardise on, and the one to order first if you are supplying a mixed workforce.

High cut — 23281, 23281BN, 23681

Full ankle coverage for heavy construction, shipyard and civil works, where uneven ground and falling material are routine. Available pull-on in black and brown, or zipper where boots have to come off quickly.

Common questions

Which cut should we specify?

Mid cut suits most general construction and manufacturing work and is the safest default for a mixed workforce. Go high cut where ground is uneven or material falls from height; go low cut for warehouse, stores and light industrial work where mobility is the priority.

Are Nitti safety shoes SS 513 compliant?

Yes. Nitti is PSB tested and listed to SS 513. They also carry CE marking to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024, MS SIRIM for Malaysia, SNI 7079-2009 for Indonesia and AS 2210.3:2019 for Australia and New Zealand. We can provide certification documentation with your quotation.

Is there a warranty?

Yes — every pair carries a six-month manufacturer’s warranty and international product liability cover.

Do you supply in bulk?

Yes. Bulk and carton supply is our core business — we are a wholesale distributor, not a retail shop. Contact us on +65 6255 3446 or enquiry@acthardware.com.sg, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm.
